Stop Smoking in Milton Keynes
My stop smoking programme uses a combination hypnosis and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) to tackle your emotional side and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) to challenge the logical mind. This very helpful combination of therapies together with a technique to help you overcome any leftover cravings you may experience is likely to help you quit smoking quickly and more easily than just through your own endeavours.
I am listed on the Central Register of Stop Smoking Therapists which is governed by the General Hypnotherapy Register.
Most people tell me they believe that smoking is 50% addiction and 50% habit. By using my technique and also accessing the power of your mind under hypnosis, you may find it easier to stop smoking and overcome the addiction; and by recognising, with my help, the trigger, routine and reward system that makes up the habit you may find it easier to stop.
My 2 hour stop smoking session has enabled many people to “give up the weed” for good, although you need to ensure that you are ready to stop smoking; determined to stop smoking and have the motivation to succeed. Also that you are making the choice for your own benefit and not because someone else has told you to stop smoking.
Stop smoking and face up to the negatives of this destructive habit
You already know deep in your subconscious mind how destructive cigarettes are for your (and others!) health and wellbeing, however, like most smokers (and I am an ex-smoker myself) you may just gloss over the negatives because you find it easier to carry on smoking, rather than stop smoking, if you just ignore the truth of this destructive addiction/habit.
You may continue to smoke because you believe it reduces stress; well it does reduce the stress of the spiral of addiction, which is relieved by that puff, however it does not reduce the stress of everyday living, such as overwork, children’s demands, money worries etc. Why don’t they reduce stress you may ask yourself? The answer is because cigarettes are a stimulant not a tranquiliser!
What are the benefits when you stop smoking? There are quite a few!
- You’re more likely to have better health and less chance of cancer, heart attack/stroke when you stop smoking
- You may live 10-20 years longer when you stop smoking
- You’ll no longer smell of stale tobacco smoke when you stop smoking
- You’ll have more money when you stop smoking – a 20 day smoker spends about £3,000 a year on fags
- You’ll gain freedom from being enslaved by a drug when you stop smoking
- Your confidence is likely to increase when you take control back into your life and stop smoking
Ask yourself this question “Who is in control, you or the cigarettes”? At this moment you may well say it’s the cigarettes. Stop smoking and you will be back in control.

Quit smoking “Have been a non smoker for one month now. Can’t believe how easy its been. Considering Mk half marathon on 2 May next year. Thanks for your help”. John* “We are both feeling great, not smoking and getting hardly any cravings. We feel like we have got a new lease of life, clean and healthy, thank you”. Catherine and Oliver*
“With your help I have been a non-smoker for a few months now. I’ll be honest – I didn’t expect it to work for me. I wasn’t sure you’d be able to hypnotise me. But, here I am months later – not smoking. It still took a lot of will-power, but it removed the anxiety – which was a problem for me. And my wife reports I was much less irritable than when I’ve tried in the past. So, thank you. I do feel confident that I can say ‘never again’ and mean it! Looking forward to the future with my kids”. Matt*
